Bob Woodruff Family Foundation

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Helping Service Members & Their Families In Need

Bob Woodruff’s recovery from TBI has been nothing short of miraculous. He had excellent medical care, extraordinary rehabilitation professionals alongside him and overwhelming goodwill from people like you. Our Tax ID# is: 26-1441650.

But during the long process, the Woodruff family learned that many injured service members returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are not as fortunate. Their families, too, feel the very personal cost of war. TBI, combat stress, and other combat-related injuries can require extensive long-term care and support.

The Woodruff family established the Bob Woodruff Family Foundation to meet this vital need. The Foundation works with private industry and government to develop excellence in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, support and resources for the injured.

Our injured service members and their families need more than just the support currently provided by the US Departments of Defense and Veteran's Affairs. The Foundation helps to ensure that our young heroes and their families have access to a lifetime of state-of-the-art treatment options, education, employment opportunities, and other long-term support to help them reintegrate back into their communities.

A board of volunteers governs the Foundation, with family members, psychologists, physicians, clinicians, and members of the military in support. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent provided by law.
